Which cosmetics are better Mac or Urban Decay? Where to buy eye shadow palettes online?
I've always used Revlon or whatever cosmetics I can get from WalMart but I recently saw some really cool makeup videos on youtube with Mac and Urban Decay.
I checked out the Urban Decay website and I see some things I want to try but I can't find Mac products online (except ebay). I really want a Mac eyeshadow palette but all I can find are empty ones.... HELP!Which cosmetics are better Mac or Urban Decay? Where to buy eye shadow palettes online?

Here is the MAC website. You can buy all of their products online or at a store. Some of their PRO products (specialty products which make up artists mostly use) can only be found at special PRO stores or online.

MAC doesn't sell pallets which already have the eye shadows in them. You have to buy the empty one first (its available at the website) and then buy the shadows to put in. Make sure you get the refills. Some times collections come out though, with special eyeshadow trios which have three eye shadows in them already (and the packaging is very pretty!)

This is the best place to go for start ups too, as there are low minimum order quantities and thousands of suppliers listed to choose from. Then you'll have to buy a domain name and get some hosting. Advertising is the key, I think google adwords is what you would need. You could even try starting an eBay shop at first to try out your ideas, as these cost hardly anything to start up.

Some of these cheap lenses are nothing more than curved plastic discs.which could scratch the cornea and distort or impare your vision. No sense taking the risk. You don't necessarily need to go online. Queen Latifah made a line specifically for women of color called the Queen Collection. You can't go wrong!
You could try the Bare Escentuals starter kit that makes shades up to dark and the deepest deep, which are great for African Americans' skin tone. Also, you can try Max Factor Maxilicious Naughty Collection of lip glosses. For eyeshadow, lipstick, etc., you may buy Covergirl cosmetics because I think that line caters the most to people of color. The Bare Escentuals kit is available through amazon.com and sephora.com. Max Factor's Maxilicious Naughty Collection of lip glosses and Covergirl cosmetics should all be available on ebay (but beware of scams on that website).

For eyeshadow, lipstick, etc., you may buy Covergirl cosmetics because I think that line caters the most to people of color. The Bare Escentuals kit is available through amazon.com and sephora.com. Sometimes their descriptions are pretty funny too! If you are looking for a specific type of free sample, there is a categories list and a search bar right above categories so that you can do searches.

Technically you aren't really supposed to keep it more than a few months (Which most people including myself do anyway). It could have bacteria on it. I don't think you realize this, but each time you put makeup on, you put the applicator/brush back into the tub of makeup to reapply more. Every single time you do this, you add a bit more of eye junk to your makeup. The eye ';cooties'; (haha) grow and fester in your makeup.
You may not break out from the diseases living in your makeup, but someone else probably will. As you're used to having those types of bacteria in your eyes, as that's where they came from.
^^ That's the reason they say not to keep eyeshadow/blushes for more than 6 months. (I think it was actaully a lot less than that. But I keep mine for 6.)

you should do alittle research. Don';t sell it on ebay. I tried selling some slightly used or almost new products on ebay and they gave me a warning. ebay wont accept used costmetic for selling it on their website.. try http://www.craigslist.org

Your eyes also need to be measured, because pupil size does vary. Should I do an online Cosmetic Science program?
I recently applied to an online Cosmetic Science program. The program is new and I'm worried that no one will hire me with that degree since it was online and the nature of the program. I have been interested in this field for a while and was happy to see the option of it being offered online since I am unable to move out of state to the school. Does anyone know of someone that will hire me with an online Cosmetic Science degree? There is a a Society of Cosmetic Chemists or something like that--do a websearch, and contact them for info on schools. A degree in this field would be fun--you could work for a cosmetic company formulating cosmetics, a perfume company, or someplace like Johnson %26amp; Johnson developing or marketing skin care products, or even in sales.
